This product is a do not buy on at least three levels. Chase refused the charge but it took some time to call the bank and straighten out the mess. No refunds, no guarantee of customer satisfaction. Between the answer i was kindly given and the policy of Simple Matter, be wary ordering from their home site. Thank you so much for your information, it is what I suspected. I never finalized the purchase, Simple Matters did however, knowing it was a bad security code.

I have missed every call in five years plus or minus while relying on my phone ring tone and vibration. Since vibrators on newer phones have been used as ring tones on TV, phone vibration has become worthless. All questions via phone, email and search ended with nothing. I tried every search term i could think of regarding strength of vibration. I checked every word in their knowledge base. I also looked at the description of the product at Amazon. I asked the company by phone calls, emails and looked for internet information. It offers numerous vibration patterns for different alerts. I guarantee you will notice the vibrations. It would be perfect for a woman with it clipped to a bra strap. Initially I wore it on my t-shirt collar underneath my shirt, never missed a call, and it was not noticeable. I will tell you though that the vibration is very noticeable, even in my pocket.

Ditto doesn't notify you that you left your smartphone behind as soon as it loses signal because that would be annoying for momentary losses of signal that probably occur throughout the day from interference. Too much range can be a disbenefit because you won't get notified that you left your smartphone behind until you back out of the driveway. I get signal anywhere in the house, and when I am on the driveway with my iPhone 6 at my desk on the opposite side of the house. 2.4 GHz signals are absorbed by water including humidity in the air. 390 feet is possible in say a desert where there are no obstructions and the air is dry. The maximum range for two Class 1 devices to communicate is about 330 feet. The iPhone 6 is class 1, but earlier iPhones were class 2 to reduce power consumption. Most keyboard and mice are Class 2 or 3, where class 2 is 2.5mW and class 3 is 1 mW, and hence the common belief that bluetooth is limited to about 30 feet. Ditto and most computers are class 1, with a 100 mW transmitter. Range depends on the Bluetooth class of your smartphone.
